Two new ASPREE CSAs
We are delighted to have Australian of the Year, Ita Buttrose, feature in two ASPREE Community Service Announcements (CSAs). The short 30 second and 15 second videos thank ASPREE participants for their extraordinary contribution to the health of future generations.
Both CSAs are aired on TV and radio across south-eastern Australia.
More than 16,700 older Australians have enrolled in ASPREE, a community-based study to determine whether low-dose aspirin prevents cardiovascular disease (heart attack and stroke), dementia, depression and cancer and if the benefits outweigh the risks in healthy people aged 70 plus.
The ASPREE team sincerely thanks Ita for lending her support for the study, the TV and radio networks airing the CSA and of course our ASPREE participants, who make the trial possible.
If you do see the CSA on TV, please let us know on aspree@monash.edu
