Australian ASPREE investigators welcomed members from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University late last month.

The NCI, a branch of the National Institutes of Health in the USA, funds ACES, the ASPREE Cancer Endpoints Study, to better understand the relationship between cancer and aspirin in healthy older adults.

The four-day meet with the NCI and cancer researchers from Harvard Medical School, discussed cancer research papers arising from the ASPREE trial.
