It seems 2017 was the year of the study updates!
We’ve not quite been everywhere – but we have held study updates in many places this year. And it’s been fun.
From Wollongong to Burnie, members of our team were delighted to meet thousands of ASPREE participants and guests during 24 presentations held across south eastern Australia this year.
The year kicked off with a full house at both Burnie and Launceston study updates, presented by Chief Investigator to ASPREE in Tasmania, Prof Mark Nelson. Executive Officer, A/Prof Robyn Woods gave an update on the ASPREE trial (and the future) at seven events in Melbourne and later in Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton, Geelong, Mildura and Merimbula.
ASPREE Chief Investigator to Adelaide, Prof Nigel Stocks gave two presentations in Adelaide and one in Victor Harbor, while ASPREE Chief Investigator to the ACT, Prof Walter Abhayaratna, greeted over 200 participants and guests at an update in Canberra.
More updates are slated for Warrnambool, Mount Gambier and Tasmania next year.
